GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Participation in extracurricular activities is a privilege granted to all students in the Swanville Public School. This privilege is extended to all students who meet the Academic Standards Eligibility. Eligibility Grade Checks will be performed every three weeks and at the end of the quarter or as set by the administration. In the event that a student is receiving a grade less than 70%, that student will be placed on Eligibility Probation for a period of three weeks. While on Eligibility Probation the student must turn in a computer-dated printout of their grades from PowerSchool to thier respective coach every Monday by noon, or the first day of the week, in order to remain eligible. This grade check will determine the eligibility status for that week. While on Eligibility Probation, if at least one of the student's grades goes below a 60% that student is ineligible to participate in any performance for that week - a week is defined from Monday to Sunday. A student will remain ineligible a week at a time until all grades are passing. While on Eligibility Probation, the student will be expected to practice.
